Go Big
Happy Friday! Today we read the book together the take home reader Big by Cheryl Ryan. We practiced “reading” about things that are big such as a bus, tree, and dinosaur. The children practiced one to one word correspondence and using pictures to know the words and understand the story. For our math and cognition activity, we practiced making shapes. For our sensory and science activity, we explored kinetic sand sensory bins. During our literacy and fine motor activity, we colored the pictures in our books.

CLC will be closed Monday, August 14th to Monday, August 21st for our teacher work week.
Our mandatory orientation for the new school year will be from Tuesday, August 15th through Thursday, August 17th. There is a sign up sheet outside of the office or you can call to schedule a time.
Our 2023-2024 school year session will begin on Tuesday, August 22nd!
