Four Leaf Clovers
This week we are making crafts and doing activities that are based around St. Patrick’s Day! Today we read the book Pete the Cat: The Great Leprechaun Chase written by James Dean. In this book Pete discovers how lucky he is and he opens up a leprechaun catching business. For our math and cognition activity, we counted some St. Patrick’s counting clip cards and recognized each number that we counted to. During our sensory and science activity, we used our fine motor skills to color with markers onto a ziploc baggie and then we sprayed it with some water. Once we had the water on our bag, we placed our pieces of paper that had our four leaf clover on it and made it look like we used watercolor paints.
