Fireworks
Today we read the book On the Fourth of July by Maggie C. Rudd. In this book families gather to watch fireworks in wonder as they glitter, sparkle and paint the sky in celebration of Independence Day! First, during our math and cognition activity, we counted stars on flags. Then, during our science and sensory activity, we painted red, white and blue fireworks. Finally, during our fine motor and literacy activity, we listened to a book on tape.
