“F” is for Family!
Today we read the book I Ain’t Gonna Paint No More written by Karen Beaumont and illustrated by David Catrow and again by popular demand The Book with No Pictures written by B.J. Novak. During our music and movement time, we worked on team building. We had to pass a paper plate around the circle using clothspins instead of our hands! It was a challenge to just use the clothespins, but it was so much fun! Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we matched members of our families together. Next, during our science and sensory lesson, we painted hearts with paint mixed with baking soda. After our painting dried, we dropped vinegar onto the paper and watched as our hearts fizzed. Finally, for our fine motor and literacy lesson, we drew pictures of our families!
