“E” is for Easter Egg!
This morning, we read the book There Was an Old Women Who Swallowed a Chick written by Lucille Colandro and illustrated by Jared Lee. During our music and movement time, we used blocks of all shapes and sizes to build an Easter City. Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we matched Easter eggs by color. Next, for our science and sensory lesson, we used foil and markers to dye Easter eggs! We did this by coloring on the foil with washable markers, sprayed a bit of water on the foil, then we wrapped an egg in the foil as tightly as we could, then we unwrapped the egg, and we had beautifully dyed eggs. Finally, for our literacy and fine motor lesson, we colored an Easter egg coloring page.
