Duck, Duck, Goose!

Today we read the book Little White Duck written by Walt Whippo and illustrated by Joan Paley. This morning we played Duck, Duck, Goose during our music and movement time. For our math and cognition lesson, we worked on one to one correspondence and number recognition by counting dots in a pond and placing the coordinating number of turtles into the pond. Next, for our science and sensory lesson, we used watercolor paints to paint a picture of a duck. Finally, for our fine motor and literacy lesson, we listened to a book on tape.
