Discovering the Magic of the Rainforest
This morning, we read the book The Wonky Donkey written by Chad Smith and illustrated by Katz Cowley. During our music and movement time, we played on the playground! Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we used 3-dimensional shapes! We focused on the pyramid and dome for this lesson. We observed that the dome looked like a cereal bowl! Next, for our science and sensory lesson, we filled our sensory bin with animals that live in the rainforest. Finally, for our literacy and fine motor lesson, we strengthen our 3 fingers grips by using a push pin to make simple shapes.

CLC will be closed from Monday, August 17th-Monday, August 24th for our Teacher Work Week. We will be back in session on Tuesday, August 25th for the first day of the 2026 -2027 school year.
