“D” is for Donkey!
This morning, we read the book Sheep in a Jeep written by Nancy Shaw and illustrated by Margot Apple. During our music and movement time, we set up an obstacle course! We practiced summersaults and big jumps. Next, during our math and cognition lesson, we worked on number recognition by matching numbers on ears of corn to the corresponding corn stalk. Then, during our science and sensory lesson, we used put popcorn kernels in a jar and dropped an Alka-Seltzer tab in and we watched the popcorn dance. Finally, for our fine motor and literacy lesson, we made donkeys for our letter of the week creation!
