Cats

Today we read If You Give a Dog a Donut by Laura Numeroff. In this book, a dog had some yummy donuts which made him want apple juice which led him to baseball and one thing after another until he was hungry for donuts again. During our math and cognition activity, we did a cat and yarn matching game. We matched the pictures and colors of the cats with the yarn balls. Then we used our literacy and fine motor skills to practice writing the letter ‘A’ on our whiteboards. We wrote both the uppercase and lowercase of this letter. For our sensory and science activity, we made a colorful science experiment. We used a paint tray with baking soda in it before we added food coloring to the baking soda. Then we added the baking soda to watch the fizzy experiment.
