Catching Fireflies
Happy Tuesday! We are excited to be back at CLC! This week we are talking about bugs and insects. Today we read the book Crickwing by Janell Cannon. In this book a roach is being bullied. After he grows tired of being bullied he turns into a bully. He then realizes that being a bully isn’t very nice of him and decides to help his ant friends. After reading this book we talked about ways to be a good friend. During our math and cognition activity we played a dragonfly matching game. Then during our science and sensory activity we created fireflies in a jar with our fingerprints. During our fine motor and literacy activity we listened to a book on tape.
