Back to School
We are so glad to be back to school! Today we read Pete the Cat: Rocking in my School Shoes by Eric Litwin. While reading this book, we learned how fun school can be and all the different things we can do at school. For our math and cognition activity, we matched the stop signs on a school bus with the correct match. Then we used our sensory and science skills to watch a color changing mint activity. Our teachers placed a mint in the middle of a bowl and poured warm water over it. We watched as the color of the mint had changed and made the stripes appear in the water. During our literacy and fine motor activity, we took a look at some letters in a bin and found all of the letter ‘A’ in the mix of letters.
