Sense of Taste
Today we read the book Yummy Yucky by Leslie Patricelli. This book compares certain things that may be considered yummy and yucky. For our math and cognition activity we played a game that consisted of spinning a wheel and landing on a certain sense. With that sense you had to match which card would fit into that category. For our science and sensory time we created lava lamps with a bottle of water oil and food coloring. We shook the bottle and watched as it separated creating a lava lamp. Lastly, for fine motor and literacy time we practiced tracing.
