“B” is for Bus!

This morning, we read the book School Days written by B.G. Hennessy and illustrated by Tracey Campbell Pearson. During our music and movement time, we sang the Wheels on the Bus and used scarves to dance with. Then, for our math and cognition lesson, we had a shape scavenger hunt! Ms. Andrea drew a shape on the dry erase board and we had to find objects in our room that were the same shape. Next, during our science and sensory lesson, we made Unpoppable Bubbles. We did this by adding 1 tablespoon of sugar and 2 tablespoons of dish soap in 1 cup of water. Then we out a small amount of the bubble solution on the table, swished a straw in the bubble solution and we blew bubbles on the table! Finally, for our fine motor and cognition lesson, we made torn paper mosaic busses! Tearing paper is a great way we can make the muscles in our hands and fingers stronger.
