An apple a day, keeps the doctor away!

This morning, we read the book Apples for Everyone written by Jill Esbaum. Durning our music and movement time, we had an apple toss with some squishy apples! Next, for our math and cognition lesson, we had an introduction to fractions. We used apples and we cut them in half, thirds, and fourths! The best part was getting a little apple snack at the end of the lesson. Then, during our science and sensory lesson, we drew pictures of apples on apple trees. Finally, during our fine motor and literacy lesson, we practiced writing and tracing our names.
