All Around the World
This week we are learning about all the different cultures and places around the world. Today we read Anansi the Spider: A Tale from the Ashanti by Gerald McDermott. In this book, a spider travels far from his home land and explores some of the other countries around him. During our literacy and fine motor activity, we traced over the the words ‘W is for World.’ Then we colored in the world and talked about how the world has lots of blue water and the land is green during our sensory and science activity. We used our math and cognition skills to sort Canada leaves by different sizes.
