All Around the Word
Happy Tuesday! This week we are traveling “all around the world” for our theme! Today we read the book Happy in Our Skin by Fran Manushkin. In this book, we learned about diversity and equality. During our math and cognition activity, we counted different coins. Then during our science and sensory activity, we painted the world. We used a sponge dipped in green paint to make the land on our blue circle for the world. Then during our fine motor and literacy activity, we listened to a book on tape about different countries.
~Upcoming Important Events~
Our 8th annual Pizza for a Purpose will be held on Friday, March 8th at 6pm at Redhead Yacht Club. There will be a silent auction, prizes, and lots of fun at this event! Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door which includes all you can eat brick oven pizza. Children under 6 are free with purchase of an adult ticket. We hope to see you there!
Parent-Teacher conferences will be held March 12th-14th. We will have more information to come.
