A Bushel of Apple Fun!
This morning, we read the book Clifford The Big Red Dog: Picking Apples written by Liz Mills and illustrated by Tom LaPadula. During our music and movement time, we spent time on the playground. Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we worked on number recognition. Next, for our science and sensory lesson, we made homemade applesauce! We peeled a bunch of apple and put them in a crockpot with a little bit of water and cinnamon; it was delicious! Finally, for our literacy and fine motor lesson, we used real apples to make a stamping picture.
