Monster Bash
Happy Thursday! Today we read the book There’s No Such Thing As Monsters! By Steve Smallman. This book is about a little bear who finally has his own room. Little bear is up all night scared of a monster. Big bear comforts him and reassures him that there is no such thing as monsters. This book teaches us how siblings are there for each other, and are a great source of comfort. For our math and cognition activity we put together spooky patterns. During science and sensory time we used play-doh to cut out shapes. Lastly, during fine motor and literacy time we practiced our cutting skills by giving monsters haircuts.
