The Lorax

“It's not about what it is, it's about what it can become. A tree falls the way it leans, be careful which way you lean.”-The Lorax. Today we read the book The Lorax by Dr. Seuss. This book told us the story of The Lorax, and the importance of protecting the truffula trees. For math and cognition activity we made a pattern from Dr. Seuss alphabet cards. During science and sensory time we used play-doh to make truffula trees. Lastly, during fine motor and literacy time we practiced cutting paper.
