Birds Nest
Today we read the book Are You My Mother? by P.D. Eastman. In this book a mother bird has an egg who is about to hatch, so she goes to find him food. While the mother is away her baby bird hatches. The baby bird does not understand where his mother is so he goes to look for her. During our math and cognition activity, we matched colored leaves. Then, during our science and sensory activity, we used shredded paper to make bird’s nests. Finally, during our fine motor literacy, we practiced our lacing skills.
