Happy Monday, everyone! We had so much fun today reading with Love Monster in the book Love Monster and the Perfect Present. In the book, we dive into a special day in Cutesville, where they have Present Day every year. As we were reading, we got to follow Love Monster and see him find a gift that he thought was super special for his best friend, we got to go through and see how nervous he was, but by the end of the story, he knew he did not have to buy the most expensive gift, but all that mattered was that it came from his heart.  

For literacy and fine motor skills, we decorated our names with stickers and crayons and then glued them to our valentine bags. We matched our lowercase letters to the matching uppercase letters for math and cognition. Then for sensory and science, we made our valentine emoji bag for tomorrow's valentine's party.

CLC will be closed Friday, March 10th for a teacher workday. This is also our 7th annual Pizza for a Purpose event at Redhead Lakeside Grill at 6pm.
