This morning, we read the book Feet Are Not for Kicking by Elizabeth Verdick and illustrated by Marieka Heinlen. During our math and cognition lesson, we talked about how our bodies work. Then, during our science and sensory lesson, we did a science experiment that showed us how our stomachs work. We found out that our stomachs can digest the food we eat better if we take small bites and chew our food really well. Finally, during our fine motor and literacy, we traced our hand and used Q-Tips to represent our bones to make an X-ray!

CLC will be closed on Monday, February 10th for a Teacher Work Day. We will be back in session on Tuesday, February 11th.

On Friday, February 14th we will be exchanging Valentine Cards. We have 28 children at CLC. Please only write only your child’s name on the Valentine Cards. We will be decorating a Valentine bag here at school.
