Today we read the book It’s Pumpkin Time by Zoe Hall. This book is about two siblings who were so excited for Halloween! They planted pumpkin seeds and watched as their pumpkins sprouted and grew to be big just in time for Halloween. During our math and cognition activity we did pumpkin patterns using the alphabet. For science and sensory time we used pumpkin cut outs to create shapes in play-doh. Lastly, for our fine motor and literacy time we practiced our cutting skills.
