Today we read Yummy Yucky by Leslie Patricelli. While reading this book, we talked about the different foods that we like to eat and the foods that we don’t like that much. During our sensory and science activity, we painted our five senses onto our papers. We used painted brushes that had a bell tied onto it so we can use our sense of sound as we painted. Then we used our literacy and fine motor skills to listen to a book on tape. Our book on tape was about our five senses and how we use each one everyday. For our math and cognition activity, we counted on some five senses counting clip cards.
