“T” is for Toothbrush!

Today we read the book Just Going To The Dentist by Mercer Mayer. During our math and cognition lesson, we sorted bones by size. Next, for our science and sensory lesson, we filled a small bowl with water and sprinkled pepper on the water to represent germs. Then we took one drop of soap and watched as all the “germs” went as far away from the soap as possible. We then talked about how important it is to use soap when we are cleaning our bodies and washing our hands to get rid of germs. Finally, during our fine motor and literacy lesson, we made the letter T into a toothbrush and used the letters of our names to make the brush!
