Happy St. Patrick’s Day! We had such a surprise when we saw that a leprechaun had left a trail of footprints and some of his gold here at CLC. Today we read A Rainbow of my Own by Don Freeman. This book is about a little boy wanting his very own rainbow. For our first activity, we made our very own rainbow using our sensory and science skills. We match each stand of the rainbow to the correct color that was on the white cloud using our math and cognition skills. During our fine motor activity, we used scissors to cut up some orange yarn to glue onto our leprechaun’s beard.
