Happy Thursday! Today, we read ‘Bear Snores On’ by Karma Wilson. In this book, Bear is asleep in his cave during winter when, all of a sudden, animals find their way into his cave. They make food and brew some tea, while Bear sleeps the whole time. He’s awoken by his sneeze and sees everyone having fun, but he feels left out. The animals notice how sad he is and end up making him more food and tea. First, during our math and cognition activity, we created patterns using rainforest animals. Then, during our science and sensory activity, we played with play-doh and different rainforest animals to make animal prints. Finally, during our fine motor and literacy, we practiced our cutting skills.

CLC will be closed August 12th-19th for a teacher work week. The first day of the 2024-2025 school year is Tuesday, August 20th.
