Today we read the book Pete the Cat Rocking in my School Shoes by Eric Litwin and art by James Dean. We love Pete the Cat because he always helps us get in a “groovy” mood. For our math and cognition activity, we used letters on a stop sign to match up to letters on school bus. During our science and sensory activity, we did a science experiment where we filled a sandwich bag with water, and we slowly pushed pencils through the bag. As we pushed the pencils in, there were no leaks, but as we removed the pencils, we saw that the water leaked out of the holes. Finally, during our literacy and fine motor activity, we colored school supplies for letter S this week.
