Happy Wednesday! Today we read the book Ahoy There, Little Polar Bear by Hans de Beer. This book is about a polar bear who gets captured, ends up on a boat, and is very frightened. On the boat he meets a cat who ends up being his best friend. They travel together until the little bear finds his way back home. This book taught us about friendship. Today for math and cognition we matched colors using penguins and colorful pom pom balls. For science and sensory time we used playdoh and arctic animals to examine the different paw prints you might see from the different animals. Lastly, for fine motor and literacy time we did letter creation.
