Today we read This Little Reindeer by Aly Fronis. In this book, we learned what all of the reindeer do to help get the presents ready for Santa. For our math and cognition activity, we finished holiday patterns. We had to go through the pattern before we circled the correct picture that went next. Then we used our literacy and fine motor skills to practice our cutting skills. We each got to pick a piece of paper in our favorite color and cut it up however we liked to. During our sensory and science activity, we pretended to make holiday cookies out of playdough. We used cookie cutters shaped as stockings, stars, trees, and other holiday shaped objects.
