Rainforests

This week we are going on a rainforest adventure! We read Red-Eyed Tree Frog by Joy Cowley. In this book, we learned about how this type of frog gets his food during the night. During our math and cognition activity, we matched different rainforest animals with each match. We saw how colorful these animals can be in the colorful rainforest. Then we used our sensory and science skills to make a rainforest craft. We made this craft by gluing two long brown rectangles to our blue paper and then we glue green tissue paper to the tops of the trees for the leaves. For our literacy and fine motor activity, we practiced writing our names. Our teachers helped us spell and write our names if we needed the help.
