Presents

Today we read Christmas Lights by Marion Dane Bauer and illustrated by Susan Mtchell. While reading this book, we talked about how some people decorate the outside of their house for the holidays and how some of the lights twinkle just like the lights in our book did. During our math and cognition activity, we did a snowman matching game. We matched the snowmen up by what their hat and scarf looked like. Then we used our literacy and fine motor skills to make our letter of the week creation. We have been talking about the letter ā€˜Pā€™ this week so we made the letter into a present. For our sensory and science activity, we decorated the outside of a brown paper bag. Our paper bags will have a special gift that we made for our families.
