Muddy Trucks
Today we read the book Big Trucks by Deborah Lock. While reading this book we talked about how trucks come in different sizes and how trucks are used for different things by different people. During our math and cognition activity we did a transportation matching game. Then we used our literacy and fine motor skills to make the letter R into a rock. We ripped brown paper up into pieces then glued them to our letter R. During our science and sensory activity, we used trucks to make a muddy road. We dipped our truck tires into brown paint then rolled our trucks over our paper roads. We had so much fun pretending it was mud!
