Happy Wednesday! Today we read the book, Curious George Goes Camping by Margret Rey. In this fun story George and the man with the yellow hat decide to go camping! George was trying to be helpful but ended up upsetting their camping neighbors, and George decided to explore the woods by himself. George encountered a cute creature from the woods that ended up teaching him to be helpful. First, during our math and cognition activity we had to find matches to create s’mores. Then, during our science and sensory activity we made ice cream in a bag using milk, salt, sugar and vanilla and shook the bag and watched it turn into a yummy treat! Lastly, during our fine motor and literacy activity we made s’mores out of the letter S.
