Today we read ABC’s by Dr. Seuss! In this book we read some super silly words while saying the ABC’s. During our math and cognition activity, we worked on matching letters and we are also learning what sounds each letter makes. For our science and sensory activity, we took a bowl of water and a metal spoon and an expo marker, we wrote a letter on the back of the spoon, then we carefully lowered the spoon into the water and like magic our letters floated off the spoon and floated in the bowl of water! Lastly, during our fine motor and literacy lesson we practiced writing our names and decorated a big letter “L”!
