Today we read the book Apple Countdown by Joan Holub and illustrated by Jan Smith. During our math and cognition lesson, we measured how tall we are using apples. Our tallest friend was 16 apples tall and our shortest friend was 10 apples tall! Next, during our science and sensory lesson, we used apples to stamp the colors red, green and yellow onto paper. Finally, during our fine motor and literacy lesson, we listened to a book on tape, traced our names, and worked on our letter sounds.
