Today is Johnny Appleseed’s Birthday! To celebrate we read the book The Biggest Apple Ever by Stephen Kroll. This morning during our math and cognition activity, we completed apple patterns. Next, during our science and sensory activity, we used Play-Doh to make apples and apple trees! Finally, during our fine motor and literacy activity, we practiced our cutting skills and practiced writing our names. We also listened to a song about Johnny Appleseed and learned about how he planted apple trees while he traveled around world! You should go out and plant an apple tree at home!
