Digging for Dinosaurs

Thankful Thursday! Today we read the book Dinosaurumpus by Tony Mitton. This book, like yesterdays book, describes how dinosaurs were different from each other. But in this book the different dinosaurs, “Shake, shake, shudder…near the sludgy old swamp. Everybody’s doing the dinosaur romp.” They clatter, rattle, zoom, and stomp all together. For our math and cognition activity, we finished dinosaur patterns. For our sensory and science activity, we used tongs and paint brushes to get out fossils and bones like a paleontologist would. During our literacy and fine motor activity, we cut play dough.
