Fruits

Happy Friday! We have had a blast this week learning about things in the kitchen. We read the book Healthy Eating with MyPlate: Protein by Nancy Dickmann. In this book, we learned the different proteins that we can eat. For our sensory and science skills, we pretended to cook in our kitchen themed sensory bin. We used pots and pans and filled them up before cooking. Then we used our literacy and fine motor skills to trace different kitchen utensils onto paper. During our math and cognition activity, we recognized different colors. We named the different colors of our pretend fruits and vegetables.

~Important Upcoming Dates~

CLC will be closed October 7th for a teacher work day.

We will be having our family fun night on October 13th from 4:30pm to 6pm.

Our parent-teacher conferences will be held on October 25th and 27th. We will have a sign up form closer to these dates.
