Happy Friday! Today we read the book There Was An Old Woman Who Swallowed A Book by Lucille Colandro and illustrated by Jared Leo. In this book, the old lady swallowed all sorts of school supplies and when she coughed it all up, all of the supplies were ready to go in her backpack! First, during our math and cognition activity, we worked on our colors, both matching and identifying each color. Next, for our literacy and fine motor activity, we worked on name tracing and lacing spools on a sting. And finally, for our science and sensory activity, we used tongs to find school supplies in the sensory bin!
