Happy Friday!! Today we read the book We Walk Through the Forest by Lisa Ferland and Yana Popova. This book is about a girl and her puppy who explore the forest. They walk, hop, and sing through the forrest and encounter many animals. During our math and cognition activity, we matched different color pipe cleaners to the corresponding color of hedgehog. Then during our science and sensory activity, we made forest animal footprints in shaving cream. Then we used our fine motor and literacy skills to practice tracing.
