Today we read Mud by Wendy Lewison. While reading this book, we had mud all of ourselves just like we were rolling around in the mud with the pigs on a farm. During our sensory and science activity, we made farm animals out of playdough. We rolled out our playdough and then used different farm animal cutters to make each of the animals. For our literacy and fine motor activity, we practiced our cutting skills with scissors and cut pieces of paper. Then we used our math and cognition skills to make some farm pictures using wooden tangrams. We made different farm animals and a big red barn.

CLC will be closed October 7th for a teacher work day.

We will be having our family fun night on October 13th from 4:30pm to 6pm.

Our parent-teacher conferences will be held on October 25th and 27th. We will have a sign up form closer to these dates.
