Happy Monday! 🎪🐒 This week, we’re diving into the circus theme. Today, we explored Eight Silly Monkeysby Steve Haskamp. In this delightful book, eight silly monkeys transform their bed into a lively playground, one by one. Through repetition and rhyme, children learn to count backward while observing the monkeys jump, skip, tumble, dance, and more on the bed. First, during our math and cognition activity, we matched circus-themed items. Then, in our science and sensory activity, we colored a clown. Finally, during our fine motor and literacy activity, we practiced writing our names.
