Chef

Today we read the book Chef by Amanda Askew and Andrew Crowson. In this book we learned about what duties a chef has. We talked about different food that we like and what we don’t like. We also talked about how chefs get food from farmers. During our sensory and science activity, we made fire. We added red and orange food coloring to vinegar and poured our colored vinegar into a cup of baking soda. During our math and cognition activity, we matched our community helpers to the tool they use. During our literacy and fine motor activity, we cut up leaves and glued them to our letter L paper.

We will be closing early at 4pm on Monday, November 14th for a staff meeting. Please make sure to pick up your child before this time.

We will be having our annual CLC family Thanksgiving lunch on Tuesday, November 22nd at 11:30am. Please sign up at the front office if your family plans to attend so we can get a head count on how many people there will be.
