Today, we read the book Pete the Cat Goes Camping by Kimberly and James Dean. In this book, Pete is so excited for all the camping activities until he heard about a mysterious creature named Bigfoot. First, during our math and cognition activity, we used a flashlight to help us find numbers. Then, during our science and sensory activity, we painted a campfire. Finally, during our fine motor and literacy activity, we listened to a book on tape called Scaredy Squirrel Goes Camping.
