Today we read Insect Homes by Lydia Carlin. While we read this book we got to learn about the different types of homes that each insect finds or makes. For our sensory and science activity, we used some really cool bug viewers that had a magnifying glass on them to view some different types of bugs. Then we used our math and cognition skills to color a color by number bug worksheet and we had to recognize what number goes with what color. During our literacy and fine motor activity, we made a caterpillar name craft using some really cool stickers that we could color on.
