Today we had a very special visitor from Ms. Sherry from the MU Extension. She came to talk to us about how to keep our bodies happy and healthy. We learned the proper way to cover our mouths when we cough and sneeze! We now know that if we don’t cover our mouth when we sneeze our germs can spread and can make others sick. We read the book Brave Little Bear by Rory Tyger. During our math and cognition lesson, we counted different forest animals and marked the correct number with a clothespin. Next, for our science and sensory lesson, we used a fork to paint a fuzzy bear. Finally, during our fine motor and literacy lesson, we listened to a book on tape.
