Today we read the book Big Shark’s Valentine Surprise by Steve Metzger. This book was about a shark who desperately wanted a valentine. Every time he tried to talk to someone they swam fast away from him because they were afraid. He ended up finding a group of friends who accepted him and they had a wonderful Valentine’s Day together. For our math and cognition activity we counted dotted hearts and put them on the correct heart chart. During science and sensory time we decorated valentines boxes. Lastly, for our fine motor and literacy time we read a book on tape.

CLC will be closing at 3pm on Friday, February 16th for a staff meeting.

CLC will be closed February 19th for President’s Day.

Our 8th annual Pizza for a Purpose will be held on Friday, March 8th at 6pm at Redhead Yacht Club. There will be a silent auction, prizes, and lots of fun at this event! Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door which includes all you can eat brick oven pizza. Children under 6 are free with purchase of an adult ticket. We hope to see you there!
