Happy Friday! Today we read Jupiter and Saturn by Rosalind Mist. In this book, we took a look at the planet with lots of rings and Jupiter the giant gas planet. For our sensory and science activity, we played in our space sensory bins. We had balls that were our planets in our solar system. Then we used our literacy and fine motor skills to trace the lines to each planet. We had to trace the lines so that each rocket ship can land on the different planets. During our math and cognition activity, we recognized the different shapes that we could make by using the stars in space.
