Arctic Fox

Happy Friday! We read The Penguin Who Wanted to Be Different by Maria O’Neill. In this story, we learned what a penguin wants for the upcoming holiday. During our math and cognition activity, we recognized different colors using penguins. We used pom poms along with our penguins to talk about the different colors. Then we used our literacy and fine motor skills to trace some lines across the arctic ice to get to the arctic animals. For our sensory and science activity, we played in our arctic sensory bin. Our sensory bin had white sand and we pretended that it was snow so we played with some of the polar animals that lived in the arctic.
